Valet Services:
Valet Services are available at the Weill Neurosciences Building and are located at the side of the Weill Neurosciences building on Campus Way- North entrance/exit (4th Street at 16th Street).
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
The last vehicle can be checked in at 4pm and Valet services is available to retrieve cars until 6:00 p.m. After 6pm, please go to the 3rd Street Parking Lot and the attendant will have your keys.

Patient Drop Off
We are located on the corner of 4th street and Campus Way. The designated patient drop-off location is on the Campus Way side of our building.
Public Transportation
The UCSF Mission Bay campus is served by the Muni T-Third Street line, which stops at the UCSF Mission Bay Station on Third Street near 16th Street. For more public transit information, call (415) 673-MUNI or visit sfmta.com.
UCSF Shuttles
Free shuttles for patients and staff operate between Mission Bay and UCSF locations throughout San Francisco. For stop locations and schedules, go to: campuslifeservices.ucsf.edu/transportation/services/shuttles.
Transportation
Unfortunately, Medicare and most commercial insurance companies do not cover the costs of getting to a medical appointment, nor do they provide helping in arranging transportation. If you think your health plan may offer some transportation support, you can call the member’s services number for your health insurance plan to ask; the member’s services number is located on the back of your insurance card.
Unlike Medicare and commercial plans, most Managed Medi-cal plans do offer support for transportation to medical appointments.
If you have a managed Medi-cal plan and require help with transportation, you will need to call Member Services found on their Managed Medi-Cal insurance card and request to set up transportation for medical appointment. Your health plan may offer you mileage and/or reimburse you for gas, arrange a car, arrange wheelchair van or another type of transportation depending on your needs.
You will need to call to arrange your ride or transportation at least 5 business days before your scheduled appointment.
You will need to tell your Medi-cal plan:
- Your appointment date and time
- The address of where you have your appointment (i.e., our clinic address)
- Your neurologist’s or provider name
- Where you need to be picked-up (i.e., your home address)

Paratransit
If you have a disability that prevents you from using the Public Transit system, you may be eligible for your county's Paratransit. Each county will have their own Paratransit system. Applications take 21 days to process.
Medivan
Medivan is a public transit service that takes passengers from the Downtown Modesto Transit Center to Bay Area Medical Centers, Monday through Friday (except holidays).
